The new SAP Business AI Platform is the central platform for agentic AI in your organization and is built on three pillars: Build, Contextualize & Reason, and Govern.
The first pillar, Build, includes components such as Joule Studio 2.0 and SAP Integration Suite. Here, SAP provides ready-made agents, and customers can also develop their own. SAP has entered into valuable partnerships with leading AI companies such as Anthropic (Claude) and n8n to strengthen Joule's capabilities.
The second pillar, "Contextualize & Reason", consists of SAP Business Data Cloud with its knowledge graph. Drawing on more than 7.3 million data fields from SAP systems, it provides the business context AI needs – significantly improving the quality of AI results.
The final pillar, "Govern", ensures compliance and provides a central entry point for organizations to explore available SAP and custom agents. It also monitors the entire lifecycle of AI agents.
The Business AI Platform forms the foundation for steering and automating work across business departments with Joule and AI agents. In the future, Joule is set to become the new interface for orchestrating data, business processes and agents.
